So On This Past Friday... 01/20/2012 i went to 230 peach-tree street nw to the Passport facility and got my Passport, when i tell you that the post- 911 procedures are strict, i mean it. So whats so funny about it is that, they're certain steps you must take in order to proceed to the window where you fill out your info. so first lets talk about where the Passport facility is located. Now if your in a rush to get your Passport you can go to the Facility down town and go to the tenth floor to apply for it. which will add a extra $35 fee for their expedited services.
Steps in order to apply
- Have Correct Passport pictures
- Place all objects & metals into the tray to be scanned
- Proceed through the door and talk with officer(let him/her know that you are applying for a new passport
- Once its your turn proceed to window and talk with representative and start app.
- Provide necessary documents and complete app, once this is complete you will be given a number
- Once your number is called you go up to the window, to turn in your payment. which is Money Order, Exact Amount, or Credit Card
- Take the Oath and Grab Receipt, Your Passport will be to you in 3-5 days unless you leave the exact same day or following day
